CIL Empowering Rural Women and Girls
New Delhi: CIL is empowering rural women and help them develop their skills and become self reliant. In an initiative to develop skills in rural women for employment, it organised a skill development program in “Tailoring & Apparel Designing" for the women of Borgaon village in Maharastra at the Vocational Training Centre of Wani North Area of Western Coalfields Ltd. A skill development program was also organised by Western Coalfields Ltd. for "Nursing Assistant" to train rural girls belonging to families below the poverty line from villages in the vicinity of operational areas.
