BHEL CSR: Distributed essential items to underprivileged differently-abled people
The event was organised on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) which is observed to promote the rights and well-being of people with disability
NEW DELHI: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited under its CSR initiatives distributed handcycles, wheelchairs, hearing aids, and daily need grocery items to the underprivileged differently-abled people living in villages around BHEL’s Hyderabad unit.
In addition to this, two students from the Special Care School of BHEL Hyderabad were monetarily awarded to motivate them for further studies. The event was organised on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) which is observed to promote the rights and well-being of people with disability
