Addl. Secretary MoWR visites Ruvu Water Treatment Plant

Delegation lead by Ms. T Rajeswari, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, (MOWR, RD & GR) Government of India visited Upper Ruvu Water Treatment Plant, Tanzania.

 

Delegation members included Mr Jagmohan Gupta, Joint Secretary MOWR, RD & GR, Mr KC Nai , Chairman, CGWB, Mr Atul Jain, Chief Engineer, CWC, Mr R Sambharia, Senior Joint Commissioner, MOWR, RD & GR. Mr R K Agrawal, CED, WAPCOS, Mr Chandrasekhar. K CM WAPCOS, Mr Ajay Ajmani, Second Secretaty, High Commission of INDIA and Officials of Dar es Salaam Water Supply and Sanitation Agency accompanied the delegation.

 

This project has been successfully completed and commissioned. The project is providing water supply to nearly 1.2 million residents of Dar Es Salaam.
