AAI hosts second Annual Conference of Top Executives

New Delhi. The second edition of two-day Annual Conference of Top AAI executives inaugurated yesterday by Shri I.N. Murthy, Member (Operations), AAI.The purpose of this annual conference is to apprise the senior leaders of current business scenario and strategies to achieve corporate plan, vision and mission.
 
In his welcome address, Shri Jagdish Kumar Goel,Executive Director (HR) brought forth the objectives of the conference and gave a brief overview of the sessions planned for the two days i.e. 12th& 13th September, 2019. He also urged the participants to make maximum use of this conference by interacting with faculty and Board Members.
 
Shri. I. N. Murthy, Member (Operations), in his address, highlighted the challenges and opportunities before AAI in the present civil aviation scenario in India, where air traffic is rising at the highest rate in the world. He stressed on the need to sustain this growth trajectory to become leader in the global aviation landscape. He also touched upon various concerns, our environment is facing and the role of AAI, being an environment-conscious PSE, to drive various initiatives like carbon accreditation, rainwater harvesting, harnessing solar power etc.
 
At the end of the inaugural session, Ms. Nivedita Dubey, GM (HR) thanked the dignitaries for sparing their valuable time to grace the occasion, and senior leaders for participating in large numbers to make the event successful.
 
During the first day of conference, deliberations on IT innovations in airport operations, AAI’s role in nation building, improvements in airport operations, sustainableairport planning, airport development through PPP were held. Also, representatives from Jaipur and Calicut Airport shared the presentations on their achievements. Also, special managerial sessions on emotional intelligence and spiritual leadership were undertaken by reputed Management Faculty
