Harish Saran appointed as Director (Marketing) at PTC India
PTC India Limited, formerly known as Power Trading Corporation of India Limited, has announced the appointment of Harish Saran as the Whole-Time Director designated as Director (Marketing). Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (Marketing) in the same organization. The decision has been taken during the company’s Board of Directors meeting held on December 24, 2024.
According to PTC India's exchange filing, Saran’s appointment will take effect from the date of his joining and will span a term of five years or until his superannuation, whichever comes earlier.
This move follows the recommendations of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee and is subject to the Articles of Association of the company.

He began his career with NTPC Limited in 1987 and later joined Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. in 1991. His extensive experience in India’s leading power and transmission utilities positions him as a valuable asset to PTC India.
