About Dr. Anitha Thampi:

Dr. Anitha Thampi joined HLL Lifecare Ltd. as Director (Technical and Operations) on January 4, 2023. She has over 30 years of experience in technical and managerial positions within HLL. Throughout her career, she has held several key roles, including Vice President of HLL Corporate R&D, CEO of HLL Management Academy – the academic and social development division of HLL, CEO of Goa Antibiotics & Pharmaceuticals Limited (a subsidiary of HLL), Head of the HR department at HLL, and Unit Chief of the HLL Peroorkada factory.

Dr. Thampi graduated from the University of Kerala with a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering. She later pursued her M.Tech in Technology and Development and earned a Ph.D. in Municipal Solid Waste Management from IIT Mumbai.

She is the daughter of the late R. Velayudhan Thampi and Seethalekshmi Amma. Her husband, Mr. Ajayakumar, is a senior designer at Ernst & Young, and her daughter, Meenakshi A., is a student.
