ONGC Board appoints Vikram Saxena as Director Technology and Field Services
The ONGC Board has appointed Shri Vikram Saxena to the position of Director (Technology and Field Services). He is appointed with effect from 06.03.2025 until the date of his superannuation, i.e., 31.07.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
According to the company's filing, the Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Shri Vikram Saxena (DIN: 10892368) as the Company's Director (Technology and Field Services) under letter no. CA-31011/1/2023-PNG(45462) dated 06.03.2025, which was issued by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.

Shri Vikram Saxena holds a B. Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) from Dibrugarh University and an MBA (HR) from IGNOU, Delhi, India. Shri Saxena has completed the Senior Management Program Course at MDI Gurgaon, Energy Delta Institute (Netherlands), University of Antwerp (Belgium), IFP Training School (Paris), and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (Germany).
He is certified as both an energy auditor and an energy manager from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. Shri Saxena brings over 35 years of experience in Exploration & Production (E&P) operations across both onshore and offshore domains.
