Govt. Appoints Shri Rajiv Kumar as new Finance Secretary
New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Rajiv Kumar as the new Secretary of the Ministry of Finance today on 30th July 2019. Shri Kumar is a 1984 batch IAS officer from the Jharkhand cadre. Prior to this appointment, he was working as the Secretary, Department of Financial Services (DFS) at the Ministry of Finance.
