Engineers India Limited announced changes in its Board
Engineers India Limited announces the re-appointment of Karuna Gopal and Deepak Mhaskey as Non-Official Independent Directors, strengthening the EIL Board with their expertise and leadership.
New Delhi: Engineers India Limited today, in an official notice, announced the re-appointment of two persons as Non-Official Independent Directors on the EIL Board. Karuna Gopal and Deepak Mhaskey will now join the company's board of directors.
About Karuna Gopal Vartakavi:
Ms Gopal is the Advisor the Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Sustainable Cities at IIT Kanpur. She is also a Distinguished Advisor for COWE India (Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs). Talking about her Qualification, she is an IVLP Fellowship- Foreign leaders program of US Department of State (US Government), and an MRICS (Member Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors). She was also awarded A Global Chartered Qualification by Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.UK, Did Executive Education in Driving Government Performance from HARVARD Kennedy School of Government USA, Distinguished Fellow - India Foundation- a think tank on Diplomacy, Dharma and Development, Rotary International Scholar - GSE, PGDSM - Post Graduate Diploma in IT Systems Management, BSc (Genetics), Degree Elementaire in French.

She currently heads the Policy Research division for Women in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and has received many international and national awards in the field of Science, Policy & Governance and Management.
With a vast Experience Internationally, she has been invited by the Governments of Uthe SA, Sweden, South Korea, Russia, UK, Philippines, Malaysia, UAE, Singapore, Turkey, Sri Lanka and Israel r for inputs on Smart Governance.

Deepak Mhaskey started his Career as a College Chemistry Professor for few years, being an avid Agriculturist with an overall 36+ years of working experience in various innovative practices in Horticulture Crops and Organic Farming. Actively involved in various social welfare programs across State Including "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao", Organization of health camps, Library Development in rural areas and awareness drive in Digital Transactions to Empower the Rural Sector in this field. Worked in Road Construction field for a brief period. Passionate worker in the field of data accumulation and analysis. Specially data analysis of electoral data nation wise and government beneficiary schemes. His many reports have been submitted and used by certain private and government agencies.
