Government of India announces key appointments on April 11, 2025, including extensions for Shri Alok Mishra as Director General, DGFASLI, and Ms. K B Vandana, IPS, at NIA, alongside repatriation of Ms. Alka Nangia Arora, IDAS, to her parent cadre.
The Appointment Committee of Cabinet, under the Government of India, has announced some significant appointments and recommendations on 11 April 2025.
The Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Labour and Employment for extension of entrustment of Additional Charge of the post of Director General, Directorate General of Factory Advice Service and Labour Institute (DGFASLI) to Shri Alok Mishra (IIS) 1998, Joint Secretary at Ministry of Labour and Employment for Six months w.e.f. 06.02.2025 or till the appointment of a regular incumbent, or until further orders, whichever be earliest.

Deputation Tenure of Ms K B Vandana an IPS Officer of Rajasthan cadre, 2004 batch, Inspector General, National Investigation Agency has been extended for a period of one year beyond 13.04.2025, in relaxation of IPS Tenure Policy.
Also, the Competent Authority has approved the repatriation of Ms. Alka Nangia Arora, IDAS: 1991, Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Department of Agricultural Research and Education to her parent cadre on personal grounds.
