Secretary, MoHUA visited 3 ARHC sites in Sriperumbudur
More than 28,000 units have been completed at these sites with all basic & social infrastructure facilities. The projects will offer low-cost dignified rental accommodation to large part of urban workforce in the areas.
Tamil Nadu: Shri Srinivas Katikithala, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs visited 3 ARHC sites in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu on 18th February 2025. These projects have been constructed with advanced technologies to provide affordable rental housing to working women, industrial workers & urban poor. Secretary, MoHUA appreciated the work done at the sites to provide ease of living to beneficiaries.
More than 28,000 units have been completed at these sites with all basic & social infrastructure facilities. The projects will offer low-cost dignified rental accommodation to large part of urban workforce in the areas.
Affordable Rental Housing Complexes address the need for accessible rental accommodation in urban areas with an aim to improve the living standards of urban migrants/workers. In Tamil Nadu, a total of 35,425 units have been completed under ARHC Scheme.
