Power Grid organizes GRIDCON 2025 to revolutionize renewable energy solutions

GRIDCON 2025, the International Conference and Exhibition, was officially inaugurated by Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs Shri Manohar Lal on March 9, 2025, at the India International Convention Centre (IICC), Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi.

The inauguration took place in the esteemed presence of Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy.  The event, organized by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), ran from March 9 to March 11, 2025, under the patronage of the Ministry of Power and in association with CIGRE, India.

The inaugural event of GRIDCON 2025 brought together a wide array of professionals from the global power sector. The event was attended by POWERGRID's Chairman and Managing Director, Shri R.K. Tyagi, as well as directors and senior officials from the Ministry, POWERGRID, and other public sector initiatives in the power sector.

GRIDCON 2025 is a premier event in the power sector for industry, utilities, professionals, researchers, and academicians across the globe to shape the future of renewable integration, grid resilience, asset management, and digital transformation.

It will witness more than 2000 conference delegates, 150 technical papers, 150 exhibition companies, and 30 country representatives. With the theme “Innovations in Grid Resilience,” the conference will focus on new technologies, infrastructure, and smart solutions that can revolutionize the way we generate, transmit, distribute, and consume energy.
