Petroleum Minister Hardeep S. Puri discussed energy collaboration with ExxonMobil CEO
New Delhi: Union Petroleum Minister Shri Hardeep Singh Puri held a wide ranging discussions on energy collaboration with the CEO of ExxonMobil Mr Darren Woods and a delegation of senior executives.
The company which collaborated in setting up independent India’s first oil refinery in Mumbai in 1954 also plays a crucial role in India’s natural gas business as it brought the first supplies of LNG to India and has ongoing LNG term contracts with Indian buyers.

Both discussed how to collaborate to satisfy the burgeoning demand for LNG, LPG and other energy derivates, as India has developed as the biggest energy demand centre globally under the visionary leadership of PM Narendra Modi.
