Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Satish Chandra Dubey, emphasized the importance of ensuring a continuous supply of critical minerals in the country. Speaking at the Critical Minerals Matrix Conference organized by FICCI in New Delhi, Mr. Dubey highlighted that the government has initiated the National Critical Mineral Mission.

This mission aims to secure India’s critical mineral supply chain by facilitating the availability of minerals from both domestic and foreign sources. He noted that the mission has been approved with a budget of nearly 34,000 crore rupees for seven years.

Furthermore, Mr. Dubey pointed out that India currently relies on various countries for its critical mineral needs. During the event, he also launched FICCI’s report on Critical Minerals.
