He also holds certificate on Corporate Governance for Directors conducted by Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA). Prior to joining NLCIL, he was an Executive Director at Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL). He has 35 years of rich experience in Nuclear station operations, project construction & commissioning, versatile site activities and corporate functions. He joined 31st batch of BARC Training School, after training he joined Madras Atomic Power Station in 1988 and held various positions ranging from Field Engineer to Chief Superintendent. Later in 2017, he was transferred to Kakrapar Atomic Power Project as Station Director and commissioned first indigenous 700 MW nuclear power plant and subsequently he took over as Site Director of Kakrapar Gujarat Atomic Power Site. Subsequently, he was transferred to Headquarters as Executive Director, looking after the overall corporate functions. He has wide range of expertise on all facets of power station & project implementation. Salient major activities carried out during his career are:

Erection and commissioning of first 700 MW unit, KAPP-3 and achieving major milestones such as reactor start up and TG synchronisation. He steered the project even during the testing time of pandemic and achieved the milestones.

Major upgradation and life extension activities of Madras Atomic Power Station (MAPS) and commissioning back both units.

Handling Tsunami event and few natural calamities at MAPS.
