NHAI signs MoU with Konkan Railway Corporation to bolster infrastructure development

NEW DELHI: National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) in a significant step has signed a remarkable Memorandum of Understanding with Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd, marking an important step towards strengthening infrastructure development in the country.

The MoU was signed in the presence of NHAI Chairman, Shri Santosh Kumar Yadav, along with senior officials from NHAI and KRCL.

Under this Umbrella MoU, NHAI and KRCL will work together across key areas such as integrated rail–road infrastructure, multi-modal logistics and connectivity solutions, sharing of technical expertise and consultancy in complex tunnel and bridge projects and slope stabilization, land monetization and development of wayside amenities, and adoption of advanced digital and smart infrastructure technologies.

This collaboration demonstrates NHAI’s commitment to coordinated infrastructure planning, resource optimization, and building resilient, future-ready connectivity that supports national growth and seamless mobility.
