Defence PSU Stock, Cochin Shipyard signs contract with AP Moller Maersk for ship repair and maintenance
Defence PSU stock, Cochin Shipyard Ltd on Monday, February 17, said it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with AP Moller-Maersk to explore collaboration opportunities in ship repair, maintenance, and shipbuilding in India.
The MoU comprises key areas of cooperation such as, technical expertise sharing for achieving global standards in ship maintenance; exploration of ship repair, dry docking, and new building opportunities; joint training programs focusing on responsible practices and skill development initiatives for both Cochin Shipyard and Maersk seafarers, the company said in an exchange filing.
