LPG Commercial Cylinder Prices Reduced on New Year’s Day | Revised Rates Announced
In a New Year's announcement, the central government has reduced the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 14 to Rs 16 across various cities, including Delhi and Mumbai. However, the price of domestic LPG cylinders, weighing 14.2 kg, remains unchanged at Rs 803.
As per a notification from public sector oil companies, the updated price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi is now Rs 1804, reduced from the previous rate of Rs 1818.50 per cylinder.

It's important to note that LPG cylinder prices had seen an increase in December. Government oil companies had raised the price of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 16.50, following a similar price hike in November. The pricing of gas cylinders is revised on the first day of every month by these companies, reflecting global market trends.
ATF Price Cut as Well
Alongside the reduction in LPG cylinder prices, the prices of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) have also been reduced. Effective from January 1, government oil companies have lowered ATF prices, providing relief to the aviation industry. In December, the price of ATF was decreased significantly by ?11,401.37 per kiloliter, marking a major cost reduction for the sector.
