Zetwerk Manufacturing secures NTPC’s Rs 2,500-crore PV modules supply contract
Zetwerk's energy transition business is diversified across renewable energy--solar PV module manufacturing, battery packs and chargers manufacturing, and battery energy storage solutions (BESS) solutions.
Contract manufacturing company Zetwerk Manufacturing has secured a 1,515 MWp order from NTPC to produce and supply ALMM-compliant solar photovoltaic modules, including mandatory spares for the 1,200 MW Khavda Solar Project in Gujarat. Bengaluru-based Zetwerk did not disclose the order value. However, industry sources said the contract could be worth Rs 2,500 crore.
ALMM stands for approved list of models and solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturers.

"This second order from NTPC is a testament to our commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable and high-quality solar solutions," as per sources.
Last December, Zetwerk bagged an order to supply solar photovoltaic modules of 375 MW capacity for the Bhuj solar project. The current order is four times larger.
Zetwerk said it will be servicing this order in 210 days. “Zetwerk's ALMM-compliant modules align with the Indian government's vision of promoting domestic manufacturing and reducing reliance on imports,” the company said.
