Vikram Dev Dutt (IAS) appointed as new CMD of Air India

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Vikram Dev Dutt (IAS) to the post of CMD of Air India Limited. He has been appointed as CMD of Air India Limited under the Ministry of Civil Aviation in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Dutt, an IAS officer of AGMUT 1993 batch.

Union Aviation Secretary Rajiv Bansal, who was appointed Air India CMD in August 2017, was holding additional charge as Air India CMD after being elevated in last September. Dutt is set to takeover charge of the post in the early of the next month.
