New Delhi: Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated a Symbol of New India today, 'Vanijya Bhawan'. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said today another important step has been taken in the direction of the journey of Citizen-Centric Governance in New India on which the country has been moving for the last 8 years.
The country today has got the gift of a new and modern commercial building constructed with sustainable architecture.
The Prime Minister cited the new Vanjiya Bhawan as also the symbol of his Government’s achievements in the field of commerce during this period.
About Vanijya Bhawan
The Modern office complex is built on 4.33 acres near iconic India Gate, with a construction cost of Rs 226 crores. It is a digitally smart and energy efficient green building with rain water harvesting facilities.
This bhawan is built within four years of laying foundation stone. The blend of modern and traditional designs gives an immense fusion to the innovation.
Today, India is ranked 46th in the Global Innovation Index and is continuously improving, as mentioned by PM.
However this complex can accomodate over 1000 offices and staff, also there is parking on 2 levels for overe 400 cars.
