Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the proposed metro corridor from Sector-142 to the Botanical Garden to enhance a smooth and feasible transportation system.
This strategic approval marks a pivotal step in the development of the city's metro infrastructure, promising to bring substantial benefits to the region.
The new metro corridor, extending from Sector-142 to the Botanical Garden, is designed to address the growing demand for efficient and reliable public transportation. This project will not only enhance connectivity but also contribute to the overall development and prosperity of the region.

There will be 8 new stations: 1. Botanical Garden, 2. Noida Sector – 44, 3. Noida Office, 4. Noida Sector – 97, 5. Noida Sector – 105, 6. Noida Sector – 108, 7. Noida Sector – 93, 8. Panchsheel Balak Inter College.
Multimodal integration as a key feature of the project is-
• Botanical Garden Bus Stand: Passengers can easily interchange between the Aqua Line and buses (IntraCity/ Inter-City) at Botanical Garden Metro station.
• IGI Airport via Magenta Line: Convenient and hassle-free direct connectivity to Indira Gandhi International Airport (Terminal- T1) via Magenta Line of Delhi Metro.
• Indian Railways via Blue Line: Seamless commute to major Indian Railways stations (e.g., New Delhi, Anand Vihar) through the Blue Line of Delhi metro.

From this Botanical Garden Station will become the big Interchange Station having 03 Stations. Following this approval, the next crucial step involves forwarding the DPR to the Government of India (GOI) for final approval and funding.
