Three ADGs in CRPF, CISF and BSF appointed as Special DG
Praveer Ranjan (IPS: 1993: AGMUT) was appointed as Special Director General in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
The Centre on Saturday appointed three Additional Director General rank officers to the post of Special Director (Level-16 in the pay matrix) in respective organizations.
Praveer Ranjan (IPS: 1993: AGMUT) was appointed as Special Director General in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
To formalize his elevation and appointment the ADG posts held by him were temporarily upgraded to Special DG for a tenure of two years.
Vipul Kumar (IPS: 1993: UP) was appointed as Special DG in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), against existing vacancy, till his retirement i.e. 31.08.2028

R Prasad Meena (IPS: 1993: AM) was appointed as Special DG in the Border Security Force (BSF), against existing vacancy, till his retirement i.e. 31.07.2025.
