SJVN Limited signs MoU with ALIMCO
ALIMCO is a Central Public Sector Enterprise, under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment GOI.
Shimla: SJVN signed an MoU with Artificial Limb Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) in the benign presence of Smt. Geeta Kapur, Director(Personnel) P) cum Chairman SJVN Foundation for distributing aids and assistive devices to Divyangjan around SDHEP and LHEP-1 areas falling in districts Shimla, Kullu and Mandi at Rs 40 Lakh.

Besides the above, in FY, 2019-20 SJVN has provided financial support of Rs.21.00 Lakh against a total cost of Rs. 56 Lakh to Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, GoHP for providing aids and appliances to 3696 Nos—children With Special Needs (CWSN) in 12 districts through ALIMCO.
