SJVN Organised Half Yearly Meeting of City Official Language Implementation Committee
Shimla: In order to increase the use of Official Language Hindi in Central Government Offices, Undertakings and Banks, the half-yearly meeting of the City Official Language Implementation Committee , Shimla (Office-2), constituted by the Government of India under the Chairmanship of Chairman and Managing Director of SJVN Limited, was organized today at SJVN Limited. , Corporate Headquarter , Shakti Sadan , Shanan , Shimla.
The meeting was chaired by Executive Director (HR), SJVN, Shri Chandra Shekhar Yadav On this occasion, General Manager (HR/Official Language) of the Corporation, Mrs. Seema Kumar and Deputy Director (Implementation) of Narakas-2 , Shimla , Official Language Department , Home Ministry , Government of India, Mr. Kumar Pal Sharma were also present.
Addressing the meeting, Shri Chandra Shekhar Yadav emphasized on the maximum use of official language in government work . In his address , he said that all the member offices are doing commendable work in their respective offices and maximum work should be done by maintaining this pace in future as well. We will make every possible effort to complete the work in Hindi.
General Manager (HR/Official Language) and Member-Secretary , Mrs. Seema Kumar, present in the meeting, highlighted the work done by NARACAS member offices and gave a brief information about the follow-up actions/programmes of the previous meeting .

In the meeting, the use of Hindi in Central Government offices was reviewed and discussions were held towards achieving the goals set by the Government of India , and consensus was also reached on organizing various Hindi competitions and workshops by the Committee. Heads of member offices of NARAKAS and senior officers of SJVN were present on the occasion.
