Shri Jai Prakash Dwivedi assumed charge as WCL CMD
New Delhi: Shri Jai Prakash Dwivedi, known for his expertise in coal mining, today took over as the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Western Coalfields Limited (WCOLI). On this occasion, WCL Director Technical (Planning/Project) Mr. AK Singh, Chief Vigilance Officer Mr. Ajay Madhukar Mhetre, all the General Managers and senior officers congratulated and congratulated Mr. Dwivedi.

He has also held the additional charge of Director (Personnel) of the company. Mr. Dwivedi has over 36 years of rich experience in the coal mining industry. He started his career in Coal India as a Mining Engineer in the year 1986 after completing his graduation in Mining Engineering from IIT-BHU Varanasi. Before serving in WCL, he had also served in Coal India's subsidiaries SECL, ECL and NCL during his tenure.
