SECL Coal Aftech is speeding up increased by 24 percent

SECL had 10.40 million tonnes of coal offtech, while 8.39 million tonnes of Aftech last year this month. This is how the month-September has increased by 24 percent compared to last year.

Bilaspur: SECL is committed to providing excellent coal on time to all its coal consumers. The Aftech statistics for the month-September 2020 are describing the speed in this work. In September 2020, SECL had 10.40 million tonnes of coal offtech, while 8.39 million tonnes of Aftech last year this month. This is how the month-September has increased by 24 percent compared to last year.
 
 
A major increase in coal rack loading has also been recorded. In July this year, an average of 40.50 racks were loaded per day, while in August, 40.39 racks were loaded every day in September and 41.80 racks per day. Last year this month, on average, 34.6, 27.7 racks were loaded per day respectively. In comparison to last year, the increase was 17 percent in July, 28 percent in month-August and 51 percent in month-September.
 
 
Providing coal to energy sector companies has been a priority of SECL. SECL has been trying positively to get a reasonable amount of coal stock available in these companies. In case any energy sector company has less than ten days of coal stock available, it is kept in the category of critical plants. In the first 24 days of month-October 2020, 6 power plants have come out of the critical category. These include NTPC Sipat, NTPC Lara, DB Power, SKS Power Generation, CSGPCL, Dhariwal Infrastructure Ltd.
 
 
With its efforts, SECL continues to supply coal to its coal consumers in a quality and timely manner. The acceleration in coal extraction indicates clear towards SECL's Aftech's target meeting.
