Rural Cultural Meet organises at NTPC Talcher Kaniha
New Delhi: The 11th Rural Cultural Meet was organized by NTPC Talcher Kaniha under its CSR initiative on 08th February, 2024. Every year the power station organises the event to promote rich heritage and culture of Odisha through various forms of dance showcased by rural school students.
This year, the popular CSR programme saw participation of 497 students from 34 schools guided by 68 teachers. This is the eleven year in series that NTPC Talcher Kaniha had organized the cultural meet.

Satya Rama Krishna, GM(O&M), Shri A.J. Rajkumar, GM(Maintenance), Shri Prakash Kumar, GM(FM) & Shri Brij Kishor Pandey, Head of HR and representatives of Unions/Associations.

In Senior category, Kalpataru Maa Bhairavi Vidya Mandir, Bijigol, in Middle category, Govt. U.P. School, Sibarampur and in Junior category, Govt. Primary School, Hutting Area were declared the best performing group. Smt Anita Singh Deo, (Nrutyacharya) and Shri Bairagi Charan Mallick (Byanga Baruda), Angul were the judges of the rural cultural meet.
