Republic Day was celebrated at Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited’s (CPCL) at Manali Refinery Complex on 26th January 2022. Shri. Arvind Kumar, Managing Director, CPCL, unfurled the National Flag and took the salute at an impressive parade by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) contingent stationed at CPCL and Territorial Army personnel of CPCL. The program was also witnessed by employees & families on virtual mode.
Speaking on the occasion Shri. Arvind Kumar recalled the sacrifices of the freedom fighters whose dedicated efforts gave us Independence and created this republic country. He urged everyone to put their best possible efforts towards not only meeting the physical and financial targets but also fulfilling the vision of organization.
He also said that the Energy Strategy for the upcoming years reimagines new technology frontiers such as green and renewable alternatives, bio fuels, Artificial Intelligence etc. and focused on the need to realign ourselves towards energy transition, in a way that our future generations will be proud to be part of that.
