Ram Setu railway overbridge inaugurated in Balotra
As per the state government, it will issue various approvals in a time bound manner to strengthen the road network and would develop ring roads, bridges, road-over-bridge [ROB] along with Mumbai-Delhi Expressway and Jamnagar-Amritsar Expressway.
Rajasthan: In order to provide a substantial infrastructure boost in the state of Rajasthan, the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has inaugurated a railway overbridge named Ram Setu in Balotra which is built with two lanes over a 2km stretch at Rs 102 crore, on National Highway-112 in the Jodhpur-Barmer railway section.
The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Bhajanlal Sharma, has participated in the inauguration through video conferencing from his official residence. Focusing upon the merits of constructing the bridge can be assessed to mitigate the traffic congestion at level crossings in Balotra, enhancing safety by preventing accidents caused by heavy vehicles passing through the city.

Meanwhile, in addition to this, the local industries will be strengthened which will increase employment opportunities in the area.
