Raj Priy Singh Appointed as Director in Department of Rural Development
His appointment as Director in the Department of Rural Development is under the Central Staffing Scheme for five years, effective from the date he assumes charge of the post or until further orders, whichever comes earlier.
Raj Priy Singh, an Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer from the 2010 batch, has been appointed as the Director of the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Rural Development. His appointment follows a recommendation for Central deputation by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change and is governed by the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS).

The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) issued an order facilitating Raj Priy Singh's appointment, instructing him to be relieved of his current duties immediately and to commence his responsibilities in the Department of Rural Development.
