NEW DELHI- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi dedicated the Namo Path and Devka Seafront to the nation in Daman, marking a significant milestone in the development of the coastal region. The Prime Minister arrived at the venue and interacted with construction workers, expressing his appreciation for their hard work. He also posed for a photograph with them, acknowledging their contribution to the project.
The Devka Seafront, stretching over 5.45 km and built at a cost of approximately Rs 165 crores, is a unique coastal promenade in the country. It is expected to boost the local economy and attract more tourists to the region, making it a hub for leisure and recreation activities.

During the visit, the Prime Minister also visited the Naya Bharat Selfie Point, adding a touch of modernity to the picturesque location. The Administrator of Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu and Lakshadweep, Shri Praful Patel, accompanied the Prime Minister during the event.
