PESB Recommends Vilas Sopan Wadekar for MRVCL CMD Position
New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) is a statutory body, recommended the name of Vilas Sopan Wadekar for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited (Schedule A), public sector undertaking (PSU) of the Government of India.
The PESB in the selection meeting interviewed two applicants; Vilas Sopan Wadekar, Director (Technical), Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited, and Tirth Nath Singh, Director Whole time, director of projects and Corporate Affairs, Patel Engineering Ltd.

Subhash Chandra Gupta is currently serving as the Chairman and Managing Director of the Company. Back in 2021, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) recommended Subhash for the post of Chairman and Managing Director at that time he was working as Director (Way & Works) of Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd (KRCL).
