Shri PM Prasad, Chairman, Coal India Limited held a review meeting today on 02.07.2023 at the Coal Headquarters on issues related to production, productivity and future plans. In the review meeting, he appreciated the work culture and performance of the team.
Mr. Prasad appealed to the Regional General Managers and Departmental Heads of the company present in the meeting to complete all the projects in a time-bound manner.

In the review meeting, WCL CMD Mr. Manoj Kumar gave detailed information about the achievements of the year 2022-23 and the plans for the current year. He expressed confidence that WCL would achieve the target of coal production/dispatch in the current financial year (2023-24) as well.
Director (Personnel) Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Director Technical (Operations) Mr. J.K. P. Dwivedi, Director Technical (Planning & Projects) Shri. Of. Singh, Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Ajay Mhetre, Executive Director (Coal India) and Technical Secretary to Chairman Shri M.K. Singh were prominently present.

Prasad was saluted by the security guard of the WCL on his arrival at the WCL headquarters. He then inspected the Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) for e-surveillance set up at the WCL Headquarters. Appreciating ICCC, he gave important instructions for the betterment of this system.
Shri Prasad left for Vani area from Vaikoli headquarters. Here he inspected Panganga and Mungoli mines of Vani region. He interacted with the team of the area and asked them to increase coal production by fully adopting safety norms in mining work.
