New Delhi: Any summit can be conquered with determination and a desire to achieve the extraordinary. NTPC Unchahar’s Head of Project, Mandeep Singh Chhabra, has proven this by reaching the Everest Base Camp and proudly hoisting the Indian and NTPC flags on the world’s highest mountain range.

At 59, when most people shy away from strenuous tasks, Chhabra showcased immense courage and perseverance to accomplish this remarkable feat amidst the challenging conditions of the Himalayas.

Despite harsh weather, unseasonal snowfall, and continuous rain, he remained resolute in his mission. The treacherous route to Everest had been damaged by snowfall, and communication services were disrupted, yet Chhabra continued undeterred.
