NTPC organised National Sports Day at Headquarters
On the occasion employees took “Fit India Pledge” which was administered by Shri T K Konar, General Manager (Technical Services) to make sports as part of their daily routine to encourage mass participation and fitness activities.
New Delhi: National Sports Day 2023 under the initiative of the Government of India was organised in association with the Employees Welfare Association EWA at Coal Mining HQ on August 29, 2023 with the theme “Sports as an enabler for an inclusive and Fit Society”. In addition, a plank exercise competition was conducted among the employees to find the fittest employee.

With the aim to raise awareness about the values of sports: discipline, perseverance, sportsmanship, and teamwork, and to encourage the public in large to take up sports and make it an integral part of their lives while emphasizing on the importance of being fit and healthy.
