NTPC Bongaigaon Observes Vigilance Awareness Week 2024
The observance commenced with a solemn vigilance oath administered by Shri Akhilesh Singh, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, in the presence of Shri Ananta Samanta, Head, Vigilance, along with departmental heads, employees, and representatives from unions and associations.
NTPC Bongaigaon Observes Vigilance Awareness Week 2024
NTPC Bongaigaon joined the nation in observing Vigilance Awareness Week from October 28 to November 3, 2024 on the theme "Culture of Integrity for Nature's Prosperity. The observance commenced with a solemn vigilance oath administered by Shri Akhilesh Singh, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, in the presence of Shri Ananta Samanta, Head, Vigilance, along with departmental heads, employees, and representatives from unions and associations.
The event encouraged employees to foster professional and ethical values in their work environment. Shri Akhilesh Singh, addressing the gathering, emphasized the importance of building a corruption-free society and urged participants to remain aware of practices that uphold transparency and vigilance within the organization.
Additionally, a separate oath-taking ceremony was held inside the plant premises, where Shri Debabrata Kar, GM (O&M), in the presence of Shri Asutosh Biswas, GM (Operation), led the engineers in pledging their commitment to ethical practices. Shri Kar highlighted the significance of vigilance in an organization’s success and cautioned against the adverse effects of corruption in today's world. Employees from various departments actively participated in the observance, reflecting their shared responsibility towards maintaining high standards of governance.
Throughout the week, the vigilance wing will organize a series of competitions and activities, engaging both internal stakeholders and external participants. These events aim to strengthen awareness and commitment to integrity, fostering a vigilant organizational culture.
