NHSRCL, L&T partnered; for Design and Construction of 8 Km Viaduct
With this integration, passengers will get the convenience of easy transfer between HSR and Indian Railways.
New Delhi: National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited has partnered with M/s Larsen & Toubro Limited for the design and construction of an approximately 8 km viaduct including one HSR station at Vadodara in the State of Gujarat for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor (MAHSR C-5 Package). To ensure seamless integration with the Railways, the Vadodara HSR station is planned to be built over the existing platform number 7 of the Vadodara station of Indian Railways. With this integration, passengers will get the convenience of easy transfer between HSR and Indian Railways.
So far, 100% of civil contracts (352 km out of 508 km of the total MAHSR corridor) have been awarded by NHSRCL for the construction of MAHSR (Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor) alignment in the state of Gujarat. 08) HSR stations (Sabarmati, Ahmedabad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Bilimora, and Vapi) and two rolling stock depots at Sabarmati and Surat.
