NCL hosts Coal India Inter-Company Table Tennis Tournament 2022-23 grand opening
The teams of SECL, NCL, CCL, CIL and MCL are playing in Pool A and CMPDIL, WCL, SCCL, ECL and BCCL are playing in Pool B for the league matches organized during the competition.
New Delhi: The Coal India Inter-Company Table Tennis Tournament 2022-23 kicked off in the Amalori area of ??Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) on Wednesday, September 21. This competition will run from 21st to 23rd September 2022. During this, Dr. Anindya Sinha, Director (Technical/Operations & Personnel), NCL, who was present as the chief guest, welcomed all the players to NCL and encouraged them and called upon them to perform best with sportsmanship.
In this tournament, 95 players from all its subsidiaries including Coal India in both men and women categories will display their sports talent with great enthusiasm. This competition is being held under the supervision of a national level referee as per the international rules of TT.
For the smooth conduct of the competition, the hall has been well prepared where the dazzle of the flood lights is created. According to the excellent hospitality tradition in Indian culture, all the players, referees, team manager and other people have been ensured under the direction of NCL management for the welcome, hospitality and facilities.
The teams of SECL, NCL, CCL, CIL and MCL are playing in Pool A and CMPDIL, WCL, SCCL, ECL and BCCL are playing in Pool B for the league matches organized during the competition.
Along with the team championship, matches are also being played in the open singles and doubles category for men and women and Veteran category (above 45 years). After the year 2018-19, this competition was stopped due to Kovid, due to which there is a lot of enthusiasm among the players.
