MOIL celebrates its 62nd Foundation Day

MOIL celebrated its 62nd foundation day on 22nd June 2024 with great zeal. The momentous occasion was graced by Nagendra Nath Sinha, Secretary, Govt. of India, Ministry of Steel as Chief Guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary, Steel commended the entire MOIL team for their exemplary performance during FY’24, which he stated was the best amongst all steel CPSEs with production growth of 35% y-o-y.
He exhorted the team to further enhance its production in line with the domestic requirement. A.K Saxena, CMD, MOIL congratulated the entire MOIL team who strived together to register a historic performance in FY’24. He also expressed confidence that MOIL will pursue its journey of growth, along with giving thrust to welfare measures.

Secretary, Govt. of India, Ministry of Steel for his valuable contribution as a Govt. nominee Director on the board during his entire tenure. The event also witnessed the release of the CSR booklet & MOIL Bharti (a biannual Hindi magazine) by dignitaries.
Additionally, a book “Manganese: A Spectrum of Possibilities,” authored by Dr. Sanjoy Sarkar, AGM – Geology at MOIL, detailing the entire spectrum of manganese mining, was unveiled. A spectacular cultural program featuring active participation by teams from various MOIL mines was organised and winners were awarded by dignitaries.
