In a significant development, Ms. Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (Marketing & OR), visited the LPG Cavern Project site accompanied by esteemed members from Engineers India Limited (EIL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.

Mangalore: In a significant development, Ms. Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (Marketing & OR), visited the LPG Cavern Project site accompanied by esteemed members from Engineers India Limited (EIL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). The visit aimed to review the progress of various sites within the project, including the Access Tunnel, Lower Water Curtain Tunnel, and Underground Operation Shaft.

The dignitaries present during the visit included Shri Amit K Garg, Director (Marketing) of HPCL, Shri Rajiv Agarwal, Director (Technical) of EIL, and Shri Rajeev Gupta, Director (Projects) of EIL.

The teams from EIL and HPCL warmly welcomed Ms. Sujata Sharma, who holds a vital position in the Ministry, demonstrating the significance of the LPG Cavern Project.

During the visit, the esteemed dignitaries meticulously examined the progress of work at various project sites. The Access Tunnel, Lower Water Curtain Tunnel, and Underground Operation Shaft were among the areas closely reviewed. The objective was to assess the project's advancement and ensure that it aligns with the established timelines and quality standards.

The LPG Cavern Project at Mangalore holds great importance for the petroleum industry, as it seeks to enhance the storage and supply infrastructure for LPG.
