IndianOil has been conferred 'Best PSU for the Promotion of Sports' award

New Delhi: Indian Oil Corporation Limited, an Indian government corporation has been conferred the award for 'Best PSU for the Promotion of Sports' at the Sport star Aces award. On this occasion, IOCL mentioned, "As Energy of India, we are fuelling the sporting aspirations of the country & are committed to energise India's journey towards sporting greatness."

It added we endeavour to promote a wide array of sports and sportspersons and this award stands as a testimony to our unwavering focus to nurture sporting excellence. Today, we are one of the few corporates in the world to have a full-fledged hockey team of our own.

This Women's Day, IOCL announced the IndianOil Women's Hockey team, also the first Corporate to do so apart from Railways & the Services.

Mr. SM Vaidya, Chairman, IndianOil, said I must thank Sportstar and the Jury for this prestigious award. This will surely motivate us to walk the extra mile. Also, accepting the award from the Little Master made it even more special.
