Indian Coast Guard DD General lays foundation stone for Tier-III Data Centre of Project DCG
The DCG project has the Tier-III Data Centre equipped with the newest technology.
Deputy Director General, Indian Coast Guard (ICG), Anand Prakash Badola laid the foundation stone for the Tier-III Data Centre of Project Digital Coast Guard (DCG) at Mahipalpur in New Delhi yesterday. Project DCG is a strategically important project for ICG. It will be a testimony of the technological advancement made by the ICG.
It includes the construction of a state-of-the-art Data Centre at Mahipalpur, New Delhi, and a Disaster Recovery Data Centre at New Mangalore, Karnataka, a PAN India connectivity among ICG locations including ships, and implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning application.
The DCG project has the Tier-III Data Centre equipped with the newest technology.
