About PFCC Unit:

The Petrochemical Fluidized Catalytic Cracking (PFCC) Unit is a critical component of a refinery that converts heavy hydrocarbons into lighter and more valuable products, such as gasoline, diesel, and propylene. It employs a fluidized bed of catalysts to break down heavy hydrocarbon molecules into smaller ones through a process called cracking, resulting in the production of high-quality fuels and petrochemicals. The successful erection of the Reactor bottom part marks a significant milestone in the construction of the PFCC Unit at the HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited.
