HFCL Limited bags order worth Rs 623 crore
As per a recent report from Future Market Insights, as per industry estimates, the global 5G last-mile equipment market is projected to reach USD 68 billion by 2030.
HFCL Limited has received an order of Rs 623 crore order for the supply of indigenously manufactured 5G networking equipment from a domestic telecom service provider company.
As per the official data, this is the first such large order for 5G networking equipment granted by any Indian Company via any telecom service provider. The order is required to be executed by December 2024.
As per a recent report from Future Market Insights, as per industry estimates, the global 5G last-mile equipment market is projected to reach USD 68 billion by 2030. The significant transformation is set to play a major role in the global surge in 5G technology demand and projected growth of 48.3 percent.

HFCL manufactures optical fibre and optical fibre cables, and telecom products, including 5G Radio Access Network [RAN] products, 5G Transport Products, WiFi Systems, Switches, Routers and defence electronics products.
