Grew Energy bags largest order of 200 MW Contract of SECI's Auction

New Delhi: One of India’s emerging energy sustainability brands, Grew Energy Pvt. Ltd has won the largest share of the 200 MW contract of Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) auction. The order includes testing, packaging, forwarding, supplying, and transporting the solar PV module.

The tender was said to come in December 2023 and has specifications to supply uniform size and crystalline technology to locations anywhere across the nation as per SECI guidelines. The delivery of the products with spare parts has to be done over a nine-month duration.

Commenting on this glorious win, Vinay Thadani – CEO and Director, of Grew Energy said, “We are proud to have won this mandate where many other MNRE-approved manufacturers had participated. We are equipped with the technology and have the bandwidth to contribute to multiple solar products across the country”.

The evaluated bid price is finalised at Rs 22.66 per Watt peak (Wp) for all the 3 bidders creating a standardized rate for the supply of modules along with establishing preference for the upcoming subsequent auctions.
