GAIL to Launch World Class Natural Gas Meter Prover Facility in October
New Delhi: To bolster India's gas-based economy and facilitate a seamless transition to gas, GAIL is poised to inaugurate a state-of-the-art Natural Gas Meter Prover Facility at GAIL, Dibiyapur, Distt-Auraiya (U.P.) in october this year.

CGD entities, small industrial & commercial establishments through hassle-free calibration services for their gas meters to maintain the integrity & accuracy of gas measurement and winning upon consumer’s trust in addition to better gas management and improved gas reconciliation.
Director (Projects) Sh. Deepak Gupta visited the facility on 23.08.2024 and complimented the team for their untiring efforts to make the facility ready for commissioning.

Canada to make a foray into space domainDeveloped in association with RMA Germany and certified by PTB Germany, an international certification body, the Meter Prover Facility is equipped to calibrate all kinds of gas meters like Ultrasonic flow meters (USM), Turbine flow meters (TFM) and Rotary Positive Displacement (RPD) flow meters of 2” to 6” sizes for flow range 4-2500 m3/hr and pressure rating from 150# to 300#.
