G G Nair recommended for post of Director (Technical) at Eastern Coalfields Ltd
The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) announced on Monday the selection of Girish Gopinathan Nair for the position of Director (Technical) at Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), a Schedule ‘B’ Central Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). A total of 11 candidates were interviewed for this role.
Currently, Nair serves as the Executive Director of Contracts at Coal India Limited (CIL). His appointment as Director (Technical) at ECL is subject to the necessary clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC). There are two Director (Technical) positions at ECL, and one of these positions is currently vacant.
