Engineers India and HPCL sign MoU

New Delhi: Engineers India Limited and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL) have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for the Commercialization of HPCL’s H2 PSA Technology with EIL as a technology & engineering partner. The MoA was signed by Dr. R N Maiti, CGM & HOD (R&D), EIL and Sh. V K Maheshwari, ED (R&D), HPCL accompanied by other officials of HPCL & EIL.

Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) is extensively used for the purification of Hydrogen from a mixture of gases. H2 PSA technology developed by HPCL includes the application of HGU-PSA, CCR-PSA and ROG-PSA/ FG-PSA where EIL shall carry out scale-up, design/ preparation of Basic Engineering & Design Package and supply of the H2 PSA package.
