DVC's river project has recorded its highest energy generation
DVC, the first multipurpose river valley project of independent India, has recorded its highest energy generation (42,784 MU) in a calendar year, at 73.14 % PLF, till 31st December 2022, surpassing the previous best of 40,619 MU at 68.17 % PLF, achieved in the calendar year 2021.

NEW DELHI- DVC, the first multipurpose river valley project of independent India, has recorded its highest energy generation (42,784 MU) in a calendar year, at 73.14 % PLF, till 31st December 2022, surpassing the previous best of 40,619 MU at 68.17 % PLF, achieved in the calendar year 2021.
DVC’s thermal power stations at Bokaro, Koderma & Chandrapura have consistently featured among the best 10 Central sector stations in terms of monthly PLF in the year gone by, with KTPS U#1 running continuously for more than eleven months - a record for 500MW Unit of DVC.
